Lancaster's History Department is a buzzing centre of historical learning. Our researchers include academic staff, emeriti, doctoral students, post doctoral associates, honorary researchers, and visitors from Britain and overseas. We boast a fascinating range of internationally recognised research; but we are also rooted in our locality and have a deep commitment to the North West and to its history.
