John Strachan publishes essay on Albert Camus

John Strachan's essay on the colonial childhood of Nobel Prize-winning author Albert Camus, 'Between History, Memory and Mythology: The Algerian Education of Albert Camus', will appear in France's Lost Empires: Fragmentation, Nostalgia, and la fracture coloniale (eds. Kate Marsh and Nicola Frith) (Lanham, Md.: Lexington Books, 2010).
