Live at LICA present: Candoco Dance Company

Date:2 March 2011
Time:8.00 pm

Candoco Dance Company is the foremost UK contemporary dance company of disabled and non-disabled dancers. Created by world-class choreographers, their productions are a huge hit with audiences nationally and internationally, and have proved extremely popular with Nuffield audiences.

Candoco present three varied new works that explore in one evening everything that dance can be. Visually striking, intensely physical, but with great theatrical humour, Renditions is spectacularly entertaining and full of artistic flair.

This triple-bill is performed by seven disabled and non-disabled dancers, and choreographed by three internationally respected dance-makers: Wendy Houstoun, Emanuel Gat and Sarah Michelson.

Access: A Sign Language Interpreter will be used in Wendy Houstoun's piece Imperfect Storm.

There will be a Post Show discussion after the performance.
