Undergraduate Study

studentsStudy for a degree in:

The Department of Politics, Philosophy and Religion (PPR) is a unique, interdisciplinary, department that brings together almost 40 academic staff in three subject areas: Politics and International Relations; Philosophy; and Religious Studies.

PPR offers a wide range of undergraduate degree schemes, including single honours (one subject), joint honours (two subjects) and combined honours (three subjects) both within the department and with other departments in the University.

Our degrees are designed to be flexible, allowing students to combine different subjects, and, if appropriate, to change their degree programme at the end of the first year.

For potential international Undergraduate students wishing to enhance their English  and experience Lancaster or take a Foundation Year with us, we also offer programmes in English for Academic Purposes and a Foundation Year Programme.
