Short Courses

Short courses focus on specific skills, knowledge or areas of practice.  They involve assessment which enables participants to gain academic credits (most courses carry 10 or 20 credits).  Each course can be taken on its own, while social work practitioners can combine a number of modules to build credits for one of the following academic awards:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Social Work (60 credits)
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Social Work (120 credits)
  • MA in Advanced Social Work (180 credits)
  • Postgraduate Certificate of Achievement (20 credits; also available to professionals other than social workers)

For information on currently available short course offerings, please go to the Available Modules section.
