His research focuses on theory of spatial politics of conflict zones where notions of sovereignty and biopolitics are under question. Except participating and organising international workshops and field trips, Öze's architectural and research based interventions have been exhibited at various occasions in Halle, Istanbul, London and Nicosia. Recently, he was invited as guest critic and as a jury to the Critical Spatial Practices Section of SAC at Stadelschule where he also lectured about his research.
