Special Issue Out

A Special Issue of the journal Biosocieties exploring the outcomes of our EU-funded project 'European Patient Organizations in Knowledge Society' (EPOKS) has been published. Entitled Evidence-based activism: Patients', users' and activists' groups in knowledge society, it is edited by Vololona Rabeharisoa, Tiago Moreira and Madeleine Akrich. The papers describe the concept of evidence-based activism, and explore health activism across four countries and four condition areas (birth, ADHD, rare diseases and Alzheimer's Disease).
