Nicolo ZarottiPhD student
Nicolò is a PhD Student in Health Psychology, registered with the Division of Health Research in the Faculty of Health and Medicine. He has obtained his Bachelor's and Master's in Psychology in Italy and has joined Lancaster University in 2013. He is currently working on emotional communication and regulation in Huntington's disease.
Nicolò is currently investigating the characteristics of emotional processing of people affected by Huntington's disease, a devastating genetic neurodegenerative condition. Nicolò's other interests include forensic psychology and neuropsychology, especially concerning issues such as encoding of traumatic memories, false memories formation, malingering and the impact of emotion on cognition.
