Health and Care Innovation Expo 2016

The Health Hub will be exhibiting at the NHS England Health and Care Innovation Expo in Manchester on the 7th and 8th September 2016, representing the University and it’s nine Health Hub Partners:  Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Calderstones Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust, University of Cumbria, Better Care Together CCG, Lancashire North CCG and (South) Cumbria CCG, NHS Fylde and Wyre CCG and Healthwatch Lancashire.

Across two main speaker stages, four feature zones, and over 100 workshops in the Expo’s unique pop-up university, the most important aspects of health and care work across England will be explored.

The 2015 Expo was very well attended with some 5000 delegates, and allowed the Lancaster Health Hub, hosted in FHM, the opportunity to mix and network with senior leaders in the NHS and private sector.  Exhibitors ranged from SMEs to global corporations, each demonstrating their contribution and ideas for cutting-edge innovation within the world of health.  NHS England put together a short summary of the activity and announcements that happened across an action packed two days on Storify.

The Lancaster Health Hub’s twitter account @LHHub and #Expo16NHS will be active all day.
