Health Engagement and Innovation Team

The University’s Health Engagement and Innovation Team (HEIT) works across the whole of Lancaster University to provide a strategic focus for staff and students to engage and collaborate with the Health sector. The HEIT also provides a route for external organisations in the public, private and Third sectors to work effectively with all parts of the University around collaborative projects and joint initiatives in health.  HEIT co-ordinates the University’s Health Innovation Groups in preparation for the Health Innovation Campus and plays a lead role in establishing and maintaining the University’s strategic partnerships in health. This includes the University’s partnership with NHS organisations through the Lancaster Health Hub, the University's involvement in large-scale, multi-organisational programmes, and the University's connection to health networks and consortia.
