Guide to the Literacy Resource Centre
The Literacy Research Centre has a library of books, journals, reports and pamphlets related to literacy as well as some materials on adult numeracy and ESOL.
These are all collected in the Centre's Resource Room located in C23b, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
Who can use it?
The resource room is available for post-graduate students, teachers, researchers, and others working on literacy, numeracy and ESOL.
Access and Opening Hours
The Resource Room is normally open Tuesday afternoons in term time, 2.30 - 4.30. For access at other times, or for more information, please contact Kathrin Kaufhold.
All stock has been catalogued. To check the catalogue, go to http://litcent.lancs.ac.uk/RIS/RISWEB.ISA
We also have an online resource of student projects in literacy.
Use of materials
The aim is that the materials should be available to people working in the resource room and materials are normally only loaned out to LRC staff and postgraduate students.
There is also a display of recent papers and books written by members of the centre.
