What you need to know on your graduation day.
Two hours before your ceremony, please arrive on campus and make your way to collect your robes. No parking charges operate on Graduation Day so you can park for free in any marked space on campus, except Blue Badge spaces, for which you must hold and display a valid Blue Badge. For further information on parking spaces please see our campus map. If spaces near to the Great Hall are full, you may wish to drop off guests opposite the Chaplaincy Centre and park elsewhere.

Details of lining up venues will be included with your tickets and will appear here once available. During the lining up process, you will be briefed on the ceremony, put into processional order and given your name card (from which your name will be read on stage). Following lining up, you will process into the Great Hall about 15 minutes before the start of your ceremony. Guests should arrive to be ushered to their seats one hour before the ceremony begins.
The entrance of the academic procession formally opens the Ceremony which will last about an hour. During the ceremony you should follow the directions of Marshals who will guide you through what you should be doing and when.
