Get Ready For Your Graduation

Follow these steps to make sure you're ready for your graduation:

1. Register to attend your ceremony

Online registration to attend summer graduation ceremonies will open in March. You will receive an online link through which you'll be able to book your ceremony place.

At this stage, you will also be able to request your guest tickets. We guarantee two guest tickets to every graduating student who registers to attend their ceremony and books their guest tickets by the deadline. The deadline will be stated in the email and you will have around one month to book your place and register for your guest tickets.

More information on guest tickets including the guest ticket policy is here.

If you require an invitation letter to support student or guest visa applications, they will be available to order via the Document Ordering process on The Base webpages. Please contact the Ceremonies Office if you have any further questions.

2. Hire your gown

You need to hire your academic dress (Gown, hood and hat) via the link below from our official suppliers Ede and Ravenscroft. If you have any questions about your academic dress, please see the Ede and Ravenscroft FAQs here.
