On The Day

What you need to know on your graduation day.

Graduation day information

When you collect your graduation tickets in June, you will find enclosed a Graduation Day Leaflet with a campus map, indicating the location of all Graduation Day activities.  As graduands are required to line up in processional order one hour before the ceremony, important information concerning your Lining Up Venue will also be outlined in the leaflet.

Copies of the leaflets will be made available for download from this webpage in due course.

Arrival on campus

Two hours before your ceremony, please arrive on campus and make your way to collect your robes. No parking charges operate on Graduation Day so you can park for free in any marked space on campus, except Blue Badge spaces, for which you must hold and display a valid Blue Badge. For further information on parking spaces please see our campus map.  If spaces near to the Great Hall are full, you may wish to drop off guests opposite the Chaplaincy Centre and park elsewhere.

Gown collection

Collect your gown from the LICA building and make your way to the Great Hall. Gowns will be available for collection on the day of your graduation and must be returned on the same day.
