Research Interests

Sarah is a medievalist specializing in political history. Her particular interests are lordship and power structures in the north of England.

Since 2010, Sarah's research roles have been focused on local and regional history. She has worked on several projects which have aimed to transfer academic research to a broader constituency in order to encourage public engagement with history and heritage.
