Center for Jewish History in New York recognises Lancaster student’s research.

Tim Corbett has been awarded the Prins Foundation Postdoctoral and Early Career Fellowship for Emigrating Scholars for 2015-2016 at the Center for Jewish History (CJH) in New York. During the year of the fellowship, Tim says that he 'will be conducting original research investigating the generational shifts in memory of Jewish-Austrian exiles and émigrés to the United States, and the manner in which Jewish-Austrian memory and identity was transformed through the formative experiences of the First and Second World Wars.’

The CJH is the world's largest and most comprehensive archive of the modern Jewish experience outside of Israel. The fellowship is designed to allow scholars from abroad working in the field of Jewish Studies to conduct original research with the holdings of the CJH and to establish themselves as emerging scholars in North America.
