Delivering excellent service

Audience

This workshop is part of the new Lancaster Professional Programme and has been developed for all members of administrative, technical and manual staff of the University, but is particularly relevant to those within grades 1-6.

Workshop Description

This workshop will focus on providing the best quality service to internal and external clients. Participants will explore what excellent service looks like from different perspectives, particularly in relation to oral and written communication. The session will also address the challenges of working in a front-line service and provide practical solutions to dealing with ‘awkward’ clients in a professional and constructive manner. Practical examples of continuously enhancing individual and team service will be discussed.
