Welcome to Lancaster
As a student at Lancaster youíll need to use many of the IT services that we provide. Below are six of the services that are important for you in getting started as a new student - these links will take you either to information about the service, or directly to it.
Youíll need to know your University Account username and password to access the majority of these services.
You can also access a lot of services on your phone using iLancaster, our mobile app. In iLancaster you'll be able to see your course timetable, get bus times, find your way around campus, make Sports Centre bookings and much more.
Help and Support
If you need some help or support in using our IT services, you can either search for the information you need or you can contact us:
You might be in need of some help to improve your IT skills - don't worry, there's a range of free training sessions which run every term. You can find details about the sessions on our Student ICT Training page.
If you need access to a computer, there are several public access PC Labs on campus which you can access with your University Card, and the Library has over 200 PCs for use.
There's also a laptop loan service which the Library runs from within the Learning Zone in Alexandra Square.
We'll keep you informed about important IT service developments and issues on our website and by email in our ISS newsletter. Watch out for the next newsletter in your University email inbox.
Don't forget that, as a student at Lancaster, you've agreed to abide by the University's rules, including the Computer User Agreement (CUA). It's worth reading the CUA again at the start of your time here, as a reminder about acceptable use of our IT services and facilities.
