Remote desktop

Remote desktop curved imageIf you are a member of staff you can use 'Remote Desktop' software (RDP) to remote control your office PC from off campus, providing you have registered with ISS and set-up a virtual private network (VPN).

Remote Desktop  can provide better remote control of your office PC than VPN alone and therefore access to all campus services to which you usually have access.

When connected to Lancaster University using Remote Desktop you will be able to:

  • access the applications and data on your office PC; and
  • use all services that you usually access directly with your office PC.
