Francophone Postcolonial Studies

The department’s work oncolonial / postcolonial studies in the French-speaking world focuses on Francophone African literature, but also includes the literature of Quebec and the French Caribbean.

World Literature

Our individual research in this area encompasses critical investigation into digitization vs. globalization in literature, differing industry practices around the world, the circulation of authorship, regional aesthetics, and the life of texts on the World Wide Web.
