A. The whole experience was great. The year abroad was fantastic.

A. A lot, I got my job thanks to the languages I studied. The skills and confidence I got during the 4 years at the university is unbelievable.

A. A lot, I got my job thanks to the languages I studied.

Q. How much did your year abroad help in your career?

A. A lot, the level of language skill and confidence in languages would not be possible without the year abroad. Also my internship gave me experience in office job and SAP.

Q. How has your career progressed since graduating?

A. It’s been 2,5 years and it’s going ok.

Q. What are the most important qualities for being successful in your role?

A. Communications skills, confidence, analytic skills, common sense.

Q. What do you like in your current role?

A. I use my languages and learn new things all the time.

Q. What snippet of career advice would you give to a current student?

A. I strongly recommend working during your year abroad either as a teacher or look for internships. It’s great experience and gives you loads more than just studying. Don’t wait to get work experience until you graduate or you’ll be light years behind on the job market!
