Lancaster University Law School offers a variety of LLB degree programmes, all leading to a qualifying law degree for professional purposes. We also offer a BA degree in Criminology, and a combined BA degree in Criminology and Sociology.
We use innovative teaching techniques alongside traditional methods, and the incorporation of vital "soft skills", such as presentation skills, public speaking, negotiations and team working. The skills training is an essential element of our integrated teaching approach and they are much sought after by all the major graduate employers (including, of course, Law firms).
Law at Lancaster gives you the opportunity to gain a strong awareness of the social, political, cultural and historical dimensions of Law.
Lancaster has a well-established and broad-ranging programme of study. We draw on other disciplines as well as long-standing criminological traditions.
