My research interest is in the role of light in plant-pest interactions, particularly in the context of agriculture. This project seeks to identify the mechanisms by which spectral manipulations in the ultraviolet affects insect success and identify where these may be used to improve agricultural pest control.
This PhD is supported by Arid Agritech, a leading consultancy in protected crop production and is funded by the Centre for Global Eco-Innovation, a European Regional Development Fund initiative.
