Dr Paul Young

Lecturer

I am a climate scientist, using computer models and observations to understand the composition and climate of the atmosphere, and how that all relates to the Earth system. I've worked on stratospheric and tropospheric ozone, multi-model analyses, biosphere-atmosphere links, analysing temperature data and modelling novel pollutants. I am a contributing author for the IPCC 5th Assessment Report and a chapter co-author for the 2014 WMO Ozone Assessment.

If you’re interested in Earth system models, atmospheric chemistry, climate changes, or uncertainty, I’d love to hear from you. You can find more information here, on twitter and academia.edu, or send an email.
