Fieldwork expedition at the Doñana National Park, Spain

Take your learning outside of the lecture theatre with our field courses. Our natural surroundings and international links help us to create amazing fieldwork experiences.

We provide you with many different opportunities for fieldwork. These can range from half day excursions to week long residential trips. Our courses can take you across the UK and overseas, including Spain, Kenya or Scotland. Field courses are a great opportunity for you to apply and advance your knowledge in different contexts around the world. You will also to get to know your fellow students and lecturers at the same time.

Please note that field courses are only available for Biology students, and not for Biological Science students. Students studying Biological Sciences may take a module which can include local field excursions.
