Fieldwork

At Lancaster, we take advantage of our natural surroundings to create amazing fieldwork experiences for students.

Our students have the opportunity to take their learning outside the lecture theatre as part of our UK and International field courses.

We provide you with many different opportunities for fieldwork, ranging from half- or full-day excursions, to week-long residential trips in the UK and overseas, including Spain, Italy, Iceland, Croatia, the USA, and Brazil. Field courses are not only a great opportunity for you to apply your knowledge to different contexts around the world, but also to get to know your fellow students and lecturers at the same time!
