UCAS Open Days

There are various opportunities for you to come and see us, both before or after you apply.

We invite all our applicants to visit us for an open day where you will:

  • attend a talk from an admissions tutor about the degree scheme you have applied for
  • look around the Lancaster Environment Centre
  • take part in scientific taster sessions based on degree material
  • tour the Lancaster University campus
  • see student accommodation

Teaching staff and current students will be with you during the visit and we welcome questions on any aspect of degrees, university life and the application process.

Your parents are very welcome to attend the open-day with you and in fact, we have a separate programme for them (because they usually have very different questions to you!).

To book on to one of our open days, please click on the booking form link for the appropriate subject below.

If you have further questions after the open day then please feel free to contact us by email or telephone.

Lancaster University Visit Days

As well as our UCAS Open Days, Lancaster University holds annual campus-wide Visit Days in July and August, when you can meet staff and listen to talks about the degrees that we offer. You can also attend a Campus Tour. These are held on many Wednesday afternoons throughout the year, with the opportunity to arrange a drop-in session with admissions staff from LEC.
