Applicant Visit Days

Want the chance to sample life here? All of our applicants are offered the chance to participate in one of our exciting Applicant Visit Days.  

With the opportunity to learn about life at Lancaster, tour our award winning accommodation, meet our staff and students, and take part in hands-on activities related to your chosen degree, attending an Applicant Visit Day is a perfect insight into what it is like to be a student here at Lancaster.

Complimentary overnight accommodation

For those of you travelling more than 150 miles to visit us, why not take up our offer of complimentary overnight accommodation? We offer you accommodation on the night prior to (or following) the Applicant Visit Day in our campus bed and breakfast rooms, with the cost of this being covered by us.

Campus Tour Extra

As well as regular Campus Tours, which are regularly held on Monday and Wednesday afternoons, there are additional opportunities to visit Lancaster Environment Centre during a Campus Tour Extra. These are held on Wednesday afternoons throughout the year and are a great opportunity to find out more about studying at Lancaster. Take a tour of our 560-acre campus and visit the Environment Centre to talk to the Admissions Tutor for your subject at the end of your visit.

Open Days

We hold campus-wide Open Days, which are a great opportunity to discover more about the degrees we offer whilst meeting with staff and students from your department to help you to build a picture of what it might be like to study here.

Lancaster Environment Centre will be open throughout the day where you can talk to the Admissions Tutors, look around our teaching facilities and take part in research demonstrations with our academic staff. You'll also hear about our amazing overseas field trips, get a flavour of the career opportunities your degree may lead to and be able to find out about everything you'll need to know about studying at the Lancaster Environment Centre.

In addition, you can visit our award winning accommodation, Students' Union, Colleges and is your opportunity to experience life as a student at Lancaster.
