Working within the Faculty of Science and Technology I can support students and researchers in developing their information literacy skills. This can include assistance with effective database searching, carrying out a literature review, accessing subject-specific resources and using RefWorks, a reference management database.

For one-to-one support you can book a FST Library Research Appointment here.

I work with academic staff to create and maintain online resource lists and develop print and electronic collections to support teaching and research across subject disciplines in FST.

I have postgraduate qualifications in Academic Practice and Information and Library Management. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a member of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals. I have an interest in supporting students in the transition into Higher Education and in technology enhanced learning.

My interests include theory and innovative practice in information literacy, technology-enhanced learning and critical pedagogy.

I hold a postgraduate qualification in Information Management and am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I blog on library and technology-enhanced learning issues at timjpleonard.wordpress.com and tweet @TimJPLeonard.
