I teach on a number of FST programmes in Physics, LEC and Psychology. I like to work with academics in FST to embed opportunities for the development of information and digital literacies on their programmes. My interests include theory and innovative practice in information literacy, technology-enhanced learning and critical pedagogy.

I hold a postgraduate qualification in Information Management and am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I blog on library and technology-enhanced learning issues at and tweet @TimJPLeonard.

I deliver scientific writing courses and writing groups, departmental workshops, 1-to-1 consultations as well as providing online resources. I work closely with departments to embed academic skills teaching into the curriculum.

I completed my PhD (Linguistics) in 2014 and draw upon my academic writing research background in my teaching. I received a Teaching Prize in 2007.
