Jolt the Library

Jolt the Library was a collaboration between Lancaster University Library and The Innovation Hub to find innovative ideas to improve the student experience at the Library

The winner of Jolt the Library 2015 was MSc International Innovation (Engineering) student Kyaw Tun Sein. Kyaw's idea was to use Smart Cushions to help students to improve their study habits in the Library.

The Library has now implemented Kyaw's idea! Darma Smart Cushions are now available for loan from the Library Information Point.

These technology enhanced cushions can help you to:

  • Maintain an upright posture
  • Adopt healthy sitting habits
  • Manage your stress
