Learning Zone

A flexible student space at the heart of the University designed to support all types of study.

The space is excellent for group work where discussion and interaction is important but equally good if you want to study independently in an informal environment. The zone has a range of pods, all with interactive technology, some of which can be booked for group project work, practising presentations or course work meetings.

Alternatively, in other areas of the Learning Zone you are free to turn up on spec and rearrange the furniture to suit your study needs.

The Learning Zone is also host to a range of workshops and drop-in sessions from the Library, ISS and Lancaster University Enterprise Centre. For more details see the Lancaster University Learning Skills website.

The Learning Zone is located in the centre of the University just off Alexandra Square and is open 24/7. You will need your University card to access the Learning Zone between 7pm and 8am.
