Faculty Scholarships

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is pleased to offer a number of Faculty Scholarships to outstanding UK, EU and Overseas applicants wishing to study for a Masters degree, a Masters Degree followed by a PhD (“1+3”), or for a PhD degree within the Faculty.

Applicants wishing to be considered for these awards should complete the Faculty Scholarship Funding Application Form‌ and send it to LICA Postgraduate coordinator by Friday 2nd March 2018.  All applicants must already hold an offer of a place to study in Lancaster Institute for the Contemporary Arts before applying for a scholarship, and be due to commence their studies during the 2018-19 academic year.

A variety of scholarships will be awarded ranging from fee bursaries to fee bursaries plus maintenance grants up to the value of £15,000.

Deadline: 5:00pm on Friday 2nd March 2018

Application Process

You cannot be considered for a scholarship unless you also have been offered a place on the course, so you must submit an online application form in plenty of time. To apply for a course, please follow directions on the How to Apply page. We suggest you submit your application to study with us by 31st January 2018 if you wish to be considered for any University funding, so that we can process your application in time for the funding deadline.
