Adam Atlasi

Degree: BA (Hons) Theatre
Currently works: As a performer with ACLE, an Italian Theatre in Education company.

Why did you choose LICA?

I graduated from Lancaster University with a First Class honours degree in Theatre Studies, 2014. For me, more than anything, studying Theatre at Lancaster not only offers the perfect platform to build confidence and belief in your own independent research skills, but also provides you with the opportunity to discover and stretch beyond your perceived creative limits. And all of this occurs amongst a group of like-minded and dedicated peers.

What was the best part of your course?

The group working dynamics and friendships you build here are an unparalleled highlight of this course.

How did your degree help with the work you do now?

Since graduating, I have gone on to perform with ACLE, an Italian Theatre in Education Company.  This position has involved performing and carrying out workshops with students all across Italy, aiming to improve their English speaking skills and introducing them to alternative learning techniques.

My interest for the future is in Research, with a particular focus on the audience and spectator experience across a range of cultural practices, helping companies understand their audiences in order to improve their engagement.
