Degree: BA (Hons) Theatre
Currently works: As an independent theatre producer and arts marketer based in London.
Why did you choose LICA?
I had heard great things about the department’s reputation for contemporary theatre practice, and liked the mixture of analysis and making on the course.
What was the best part of your course?
Having access to the Nuffield Theatre and the array of acclaimed contemporary artists performing and working in the building.
How did your degree help with the work you do now?
Without my undergraduate degree I wouldn’t have been able to undertake an MA which lead me into theatre producing, so it’s totally underpinned my career.
What's 'Lancaster Life' like?
Great and well worth the hard work. Through the college system I met lifelong friends, and through my course I gained varied and integral experience for my current practice.
Any advice for the next generation of LICA students?
Use the resources that LICA has to offer, and gain as much ‘real world’ career experience as possible through the professionals connected to the organisation.
