James Wilby

James Wilby 2012/14 (United Kingdom) - MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages by Distance

I originally chose Lancaster due to its reputation in the field of linguistics and language teaching, and the quality of the distance course exceeded all my expectations. The course is well structured with weekly tasks leading to plenty of debate and discussion. Tutors are supportive and always push students to develop their ability to think critically. Finally, distance students can access a wide variety of resources through the university library and VPN.
