Our structure and people

Lancaster University Management School was the first faculty to be established at Lancaster University. The School currently has a staff of over 350, and is headed by a faculty Dean.

The faculty Dean, seven Associate Deans, a Head of Administration, seven Heads of Department, and a Professional Management Group make up the Senior Management Team at the school.

Our academic faculty consists of 230 academic staff, including 68 full professors.

We have over 113 professional and administrative staff who play a vital role in ensuring students have a great experience while studying here.

Most of the School's work is organised and delivered through our seven world-leading academic departments, which research and teach the full spectrum of business and management subjects. Ten research centres provide an additional cross-discipinary focus.

LUMS strategy and plans are guided by an advisory board made up of internal and external representatives.

We support a large, vibrant and globally diverse community representing over 150 different nationalities. In 2013, the LUMS student population at the Lancaster campus came close to 4,000. With 65% of our students and 47% of our staff coming from outside the UK, LUMS offers a truly international community.
