Introduction to Accounting and Finance
This module gives a comprehensive introduction to the basic concepts and techniques of Accounting and Finance.
Financial Accounting, Managerial Finance, Financial Statement Analysis and Business Environment are the main elements covered by the module.
Another important element of this module is exposure to the business and financial environment within which the discipline of Accounting and Finance operates, using real-world financial data for actual companies.
Concepts, techniques and interpretive skills are developed relating to the external financial reporting of companies and their relationship to the stock market, and to the use of accounting information for internal management purposes.
