Teaching and residential facilities for executive programmes

‌Many, though not all, of our executive programmes are based in part or in full on the Lancaster campus, using our purpose-built executive training and residential accommodation.

For some programmes we take advantage of the stunning beauty and tranquillity of England's Lake District, less than an hour's drive to the north of Lancaster.

Lancaster-based delegates attend modules in the 4-star Lancaster House Hotel and Training Centre, on the edge of Lancaster University's parkland campus. The Lancaster House Hotel is part of the Best Western group, although owned and managed by English Lakes Hotels who own several of the Lake District's most popular hotels. Each executive bedroom is connected to Lancaster University's intranet, enabling course members to use the University's electronic library facilities or keep in touch with family and colleagues via email. There is also wireless networking within the Management School itself.

Although situated in a peaceful rural environment, the hotel and the campus are readily accessible by all major transport routes – just 5 minutes from Junction 33 of the M6 motorway, 15 minutes from Lancaster station on the Virgin West Coast rail line, and about an hour from Manchester Airport.
