Lancaster University Management School has developed an enviable reputation for helping clients grow and transforming their organisational capabilities. Our strengths lie in working in partnership with you as employers, understanding your needs and together designing the right solutions – interventions which draw out the best in your people and translate into measurable benefits for your company.
Those who come to us use our programmes as a route to achieving many different goals:
- developing leadership in individuals and across organisations
- accelerating and facilitating organisational change
- improving management capabilities
- nurturing and facilitating enterprising behaviour and effecting a cultural shift
- integrating organisations post-merger or acquisition
Whatever it is you want to achieve, we will help you to develop the necessary management and leadership capabilities and unleash the potential within your organisation.
LUMS has experience in developing customised programmes for many private, public and third-sector organisations, including British Airways, BAE Systems, Bass, Royal & SunAlliance, the NHS, the National Housing Federation, Scapa Group, Total and Zetex.
Most customised work of this type is developed and managed by the Management Development Division, but the teaching and delivery draws on the expertise of faculty from across the School's academic departments.
Many smaller businesses are benefitting from initiatives run by our Institute for Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (IEED), which is very active across the whole of North West of England.
As you'd expect from a top-ranked business school, a relationship with LUMS gives access to rigorous and innovative thinking. But more than that, our approach to executive education focuses on ensuring that your investment pays off not just now but for the long-term.
