Conference on Auctions, Competition, Regulation, and Public Policy
Following the success of previous editions, we would like to invite you to participate in the next edition of the conference on “Auctions, Competition, Regulation, and Public Policy” hosted by the Department of Economics at the Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) and organised by Aurelie Slechten, David Rietzke and Prof Dakshina De Silva. The conference will be held at the Lancaster University Management School on May 25th and 26th, 2017.
The objective of the conference is to stimulate, in particular, applied research on auctions, competition, regulation, and public policy by bringing together researchers in the field. Papers presented will focus on empirical, theoretical, and experimental research. Further information may be found here.
Lancaster University is located about 3 miles south of Lancaster. Therefore, we would encourage you to book your accommodation on campus, where you can choose between the Lancaster House Hotel (a 4* hotel) or the Campus Bed & Breakfast. If you prefer to stay in the city, we would recommend the Toll House Inn (since it is located on the bus routes that link the city with the university). The Premier Inn Lancaster and the Holiday Inn Lancaster are further away from the city center and the university.
