Conference Dinner Venue:

On Monday evening, April 11th, there will be a conference dinner at The Midland Hotel Morecambe, with beautiful views over Morecambe Bay looking towards the Lake District. The menu offers local produce, including Morecambe Bay Shrimps and Cumbrian Beef.  The cost of the dinner is included in the Forum Fee; and a coach will be provided to transport delegates from the University Campus and Lancaster City Centre to the Dinner Venue.

Sunday Evening Dinner Venue:‌

For those who arrive early, a reservation has been made at The Borough in Lancaster City Centre, at 7.00 pm on Sunday April 10th.   This is not included in the Forum Fee.  Please let us know if you are coming either when you register, or later once you have your travel plans in place, so that we can reserve a seat for you.

Accommodation:

You can either stay on the University Campus, in Lancaster House Hotel or student accommodation, from where everything except the Sunday evening meal will be in walking distance; or you can stay in Lancaster City Centre – a short bus ride or taxi journey away from the Campus where the main sessions will be held.  There are also other rural / outer town options for those with a car or who are happy to take a taxi.

Campus Accommodation: (in walking distance from all sessions)

En-suite student accommodation can be booked online via our Conference Centre.  Please quote EUROMA (uppercase) in the promotion code box when making your reservation. The cost of this is £45.10 + VAT per night, B&B.  Alternatively, accommodation can be booked at the 4 star Lancaster House hotel, which is also situated on campus.   Please state that you are attending a "Lancaster University Conference" to receive the university rates.  The cost of this is £85.00 per night, B&B and including access to their leisure facilities.  We highly recommend this option.

Lancaster City Centre Options: (short bus or taxi ride from conference sessions)

There are a number of options shown on the map below.  The city centre hotels that we would recommend are as follows.  They are in price order, most expensive first:

  1. The Borough (no lift access)
  2. Toll House Inn
  3. The Sun Hotel (no lift access)
  4. Travel Lodge (room only but the cheapest option)
