The International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN) is the premier international conference in the area of neural networks. Dr Crone was among the list of presenters at the conference.
The International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN) is the premier international conference in the area of neural networks held annually under the auspices of the International Neural Network Society (INNS) and co-sponsored jointly by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society. Dr Sven F Crone of the Lancaster Centre for Forecasting attended this year’s conference, which was held in Dallas, Texas, which featured a number of world-renowned speakers in the areas of computational neuroscience, robotics, and distributed intelligence.
Dr Crone was among the list of speakers at the conference, presenting joint work, entitled 'Crogging (Cross-Validation Aggregation) for Forecasting—a Novel Algorithm of Neural Network Ensembles on Time Series Subsamples' (co-authored by Dr Devon Barrow) and 'Multivariate k-Nearest Neighbour Regression for Time Series Data—A Novel Algorithm for Forecasting UK Electricity Demand' (co-authored by Fahad H. Al-Qhatai). Both were presented in the special session on advances and applications in forecasting.
The LCF is keen to further expand its collaboration with industry. If you are interested in getting more information about the above work please contact Dr Sven F Crone.
