Account Management Intern, Bezier (London)
I am so proud to say I have graduated at Lancaster University, being one of the top ten ranked universities and the number one university for Marketing in the UK. The modules have been challenging and stimulating but being in the company of some great professors and students I walk away with great confidence, a critical eye and a wealth of skills and industrial experience.
I also had access to some great resources – elusive journals, working rooms with digital support for presentations, software for market research and analytics, which greatly enhanced my course submissions.
My twelve-month placement at Johnson & Johnson, working on the biggest team and brand, Johnson’s Baby was an unforgettable experience. I worked on some exciting marketing projects that were multi-channel (in-store, PR, digital, print, research) on a UK and Ireland basis and was entrusted to look after an excess of £10million of marketing spend for a total six countries – a daunting responsibility but one I'm proud of.
I developed some great contacts whom I can now call upon for insights and potential job opportunities. This experience led to a further two internships with a PR agency and brand activation agency that worked for Johnson’s Baby, and I have now ensured myself a permanent position at Bezier, a brand activation agency.
For the best in class teaching, learning and industrial contacts I would recommend Lancaster University. It’s a great platform for building a career to be proud of!
