Executive MBA endorsed by NHS

EMBA students

Lancaster’s Executive MBA has received endorsement from the NHS Leadership Academy for its new Healthcare specialism.

Lancaster is one of only seven institutions to have received this recognition, marking it as a top course for healthcare professionals seeking to improve their leadership and management skills.

Students on the new healthcare pathway will complete the main core courses with the wider EMBA cohort – senior managers from many different sectors, industries and functional areas. They then specialise by taking healthcare specific elective modules in Quality Improvement and Measurement in Healthcare, Innovation and Improvement Methods and Systems Thinking.

Programme Director Chris Saunders said: “We are very proud to have been one of the first MBA programmes to be selected by the NHS Leadership Academy. As a University we have been working with the healthcare sector for many years, and this endorsement recognises the excellent training, development and research work that Lancaster has delivered in partnership with the NHS and other healthcare providers.”
