Her thesis is entitled "A Context-Aware Approach for Handling Concept Drift in Classification". She investigated classification models with concept drift which is required in dynamic environments. The learned concept is not static and may change over time under the influence of varying conditions (i.e. varying context).

Her examiners were Professor Moamar Sayed-Mouchaweh from the High National Engineering School of Mines in France, and Professor Robert Fildes from the Management Science department.
