Management and Organisation: Key Approaches

This 0.5 unit module provides assessment of the major developments in organisation studies over the last three decades.

Organisation theory used to be a narrow field of study in both analytical approach and issues of interest, but over the past 30 years something of a revolution in organisational theorising has occurred.

This means becoming familiar with classic debates as well as more contemporary issues. The module develops issues and themes introduced on OWT 228 and also evaluates new approaches to the study of organisations.
