Radka has 15 years of senior input into global educational networks with proven reputation for developing collaborative and cross-functional teams. Before she came to the UK in 2002, she managed her own English language teaching company, published as series of Czech/English dictionaries.
Radka has held a variety of positions in Lancaster for the past 11 years. She has developed an International professional team, student recruitment and conversion team, Effective learning team and led admissions team. After ten years in a senior leadership function she decided to pursue her passion for teaching and research and become a senior teaching fellow in Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Her overarching research interest is in the deployment of lean methodology and process improvement in service industry with the focus on the impact of service operations on applicant and student experience underlined by analysis of capacity and demand management.
Her current research investigates the impact of organisational culture on service design and continuous improvement and the role of resistance in organisation change programmes.
