MSc Finance ranked 35th in latest Financial Times world ranking

26 June 2014

Lancaster's popular MSc Finance has been ranked 35th in the world, and in the top 10 in the UK, in the FT’s Masters in Finance Pre-Experience 2014 ranking.

The LUMS MSc Finance is also the top programme in Northwest England.

The FT ranking surveys graduates who completed their Masters study in 2011, in order to show career progression three years after graduation.

Professor Greg Pawlina, Director of the MSc in Finance programme, said: ‘Our thanks go to the cohort of 2010/2011 who participated in the FT survey this year; they reached the top 10 in the UK and achieved an impressive 35th place globally in a lengthening field.’

Lancaster’s postgraduate programmes in Accounting and Finance have gone from strength to strength in recent years, with the introduction of the new MSc Financial Analysis and the gaining of CFA partner status. LUMS also runs a unique double-degree MSc Finance programme with Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon.
