Making your application for the EMBA
Applications are accepted throughout the year but we recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible.
To apply for EMBA, you will need to use the University's online application system, which enables you to track the progress of your application.
Please note that you do not need to pay an application fee.
As part of your application, you have to nominate two referees. These should be people who can comment on your suitability for the programme, both in terms of your academic ability and your professional experience. One of your referees should normally be your immediate line manager.
As supporting documentation, you will also will need to upload with your application a copy of your official degree transcript, plus any other supporting evidence (such as English language test results – see Entry requirements) which may be needed.

If you are based in the UK and meet our admissions criteria, we will invite you to an interview at Lancaster. This gives you an opportunity to meet members of faculty, see the School's facilities and find out more about how the programme will work for you and your employer.
We normally aim to interview all suitable applicants who are based outside the UK either face-to-face (if members of our MBA team are attending an MBA fair in your locality) or by telephone/Skype.
Offers of places
We will let you know the decision on your application once we have received and evaluated all supporting documents, interview feedback and any test scores. We have a reputation for replying very quickly to applications and enquiries, and can normally make a decision on applications within 48 hours of the interview, provided we have received all the necessary supporting documentation.
