Overview

By the end of the course, you should be able to understand the main drivers of change in the broader economic context within which firms operate, distinguishing between short-term episodes and long-term trends, and recognising the roles played by trade, policy and business behaviour in shaping the wider environment.

The course will develop your analytical skills, and will emphasise the importance of taking full account of the business environment in the decision-making process of the firm.
